BLACKSTONE — Jeanne Lucille (Brien) LaBonne, 70, of Blackstone, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Feb.18 with her loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife for 51 years of Richard G. LaBonne.

Born in Woonsocket on May 4, 1945, she is the daughter of the late Emile and Emma (Mercure) Brien. She is the loving mother of Darren R. LaBonne and his wife, Kimberly and Janie A. Croteau and her husband, Brian, all of Blackstone, and the late Jeffrey A. LaBonne. She leaves her cherished grandchild­ren, Kristen and Jonathan Croteau, Zachary LaBonne and Riley LaBonne. She is the sister of Conrad Brien and his wife, Janice of Bellingham, Constance Masse of Woonsocket, and the late Robert, Edward and Roger Brien.

Jeanne was a longtime resident of Blackstone formerly of Woonsocket where she was raised and a graduate of Woonsocket High School Class of 1963. They also spent winters at their home in Kissimmee, Fla. Jeanne worked as the Office Manager at LaBonne Brothers Inc. for 20 years.

She is a talented artist, enjoyed horseback riding, was an avid camper with Sociable Sam’s Club and loved Cape Cod and fishing. Devoted to her family, Jeanne will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. from CARTIER’S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
