1968Joe Yelle of Lebanon won the batting championsh­ip of the Pawtucket Industrial Softball League cracking out 24 hits in 41 trips to the plate for a .585 average. Rounding out the top five batters were Bruce Dawson (.514), Jerry Turenne (.490), Tony Araujo (.489) and Joe Kelley was fifth with a .482 mark. Wendell Smith was tops in RBI with 19, John Chirico led in homers with four and Tom McGrath paced the hurlers with 13 wins and three shutouts.

1978Keith Larson spun a perfect game, setting down all 18 Dodgers batters in order and striking out eight as the Astros romped to a 10-0 whitewash in Pee Wee Division play of the Pawtucket Boys’ Club-Recreation Department Baseball League. Larson didn’t allow a ball out of the infield, snaring two popups and watching his third baseman snag another two for the closest things to fly balls. John Larson led the 11-hit Astro attack with two doubles and a single, while Todd Spychalla and Kevin Duffy chipped in with two hits apiece.

1988The leading hitters in the final standings of the Pawtucket Industrial Softball League were Lou Tager (.491) of Autocrat followed by Andy Harmon (.485), Justin Harrington (.464) and Mike Ballou (.464). The top home run king was Andy Goodhart of Paramount with six dingers followed by Mickey Zolkos and Chet Federowicz with four. Goodhart also was the champ with 21 RBI followed by Dan Lainhart with 19.
