Woon. Little League to hold golf fundraiser at Blissful Meadows on Sept. 17 PawSox introduce “Summer Spree when Kids Are Free” for kids aged 16 and under

WOONSOCKET — The annual Woonsocket Little League Golf Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, September 17 at Blissful Meadows Golf Course, 801 Chockalog Rd, Uxbridge, Mass. 01569.

The event features a 1 p.m. shot gun start/best ball format. Price per person $125 ($500 per foursome). Foursome with a tee box sponsor is $580. Whatever you end up signing up for, you’re guaranteed 18 holes, golf cart, meal after, and a golfer’s gift bag. WLL is also looking for tee box sponsors. If you are interested in having your company’s sign at one of the tee boxes the cost is $100 for an 11x17 sign with your company’s logo and a message above or below the logo. If you put a team together the cost to sponsor a hole will only be $80.

PAWTUCKET — Continuing their season-long efforts to connect with kids, the Pawtucket Red Sox have announced that children - accompanied by a paying adult - will be admitted free during any of the PawSox remaining regular-season home games. The offer applies to children (aged 16 and under) and is valid for one child per paying adult.

Tickets must be purchased in person at the McCoy Box Office to receive the complimentary children tickets. The PawSox’ “Summer Spree when Kids are Free” includes the final “Baker’s Dozen” of home games, which conclude on Labor Day, Monday, September 5.

The club’s mascots, Paws and Sox, are the official hosts of the Summer Spree.
