WOONSOCKET — Gloria M. Bastien, 75, of Woonsocket, died Saturday March 18, 2017, at Landmark Medical Center.

Born and raised in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Leona (Frappier) Ramsay. She was a lifelong resident of the city.

Gloria worked at Head Start, Walnut Hill Bowl and Lerner’s in her earlier years. She was employed in the food service department at St. Antoine for many years before retiring.

Gloria belonged to several bowling leagues, and was talented at crocheting and crafts.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Henault of Tennessee, Leo Bastien and his wife, Sheryl, of Woonsocket, and John Bastien and his companion, Jen Mooney, of Chepachet; and three daughters, Brenda Henault and Cathy Bastien, both of Woonsocket, and Angel Bastien of Blackstone. She was the mother of the late Christine Henault. She was the sister of Harold Ramsay and Carol Ann Paul, both of Woonsocket, and the late Raymond and Emile Fontaine and Eva Kolar. She is also survived by 12 grandchild­ren, many great-grandchild­ren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. A prayer service will be held during the visitation. Burial will be private.
