NORTH SMITHFIELD — Paul M. Baro, 63, of North Smithfield, passed away March 31, 2017, in Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lucille M. (Duquette) Baro, whom he married June 7, 1975. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Albert Baro of Woonsocket, and Margaret (Minerva) Baro of Bellingham.

Paul was a 1972 graduate of Bellingham High School, and attended Mount St. Charles Academy and New England Technical Institute. He enjoyed his job as a heating service technician for 40 years, most recently working for TH Malloy & Sons. Paul was an avid golfer who enjoyed fishing, reading, working in his yard, and spending time with his grandson.

Besides his wife, Lucille, and his parents, he leaves his son, Michael P. Baro, and his wife Melissa of Harrisvill­e; two brothers, Albert “Jerry” Baro of Woonsocket and Peter Baro of Bellingham; his sister, Kathleen Aicardi of Blackstone; his grandson, Mason Baro; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at 9 a.m. from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 414 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, 314 Wrentham Road, Bellingham.
