A copy of birth certificate and 2 proofs of residency are required for all new players to the league.

Woonsocket LL seeks sponsors
WOONSOCKET — Woonsocket Little League is once again looking for sponsors of the 2017 season.
Sponsor fees will be the same prices as last season - $500 for a Gold Sponsorship (team and sign), $300 for a Silver Sponsorship (sign only) and $250 for a Bronze Sponsorship (team only) - and are detailed in the attached letter.
Also welcomed are Friends of WLL Sponsors — organizations who opt to make a general donation of any amount to WLL. Team sponsorships are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and returning sponsors will receive first consideration.
This year, the money will also be used to help us fund the construction of a new concession stand at the new baseball field at WWII Memorial Park.

Wheelchair tennis clinics are underway
DARTMOUTH, Mass. — Wheelchair tennis is one of the fastest growing wheelchair sports and played all over the world. Wheelchair tennis clinics are geared toward people with mobility disabilities such as spinal cord injuries, amputees, spinal cord diseases, etc. Attend all clinics or just one. All player levels are welcome! Clinics at the Dartmouth Indoor Tennis facility (757 State Road, Dartmouth, Mass. 02747) will be held on the following Friday nights from 7:30-9:30: 4/7, 4/21, 5/5, & 5/19.
The clinics are free. All levels of players are welcome to attend. Rackets can be provided if need be as well as sports chairs. Instruction to be provided by Jim Buck, who has taught tennis for 35 years and wheelchair tennis for 20 years.

Woonsocket Softball League seeks players
WOONSOCKET — The Woonsocket Senior Softball League is looking for players . The league is for ages 58 and up and players from all over are welcome.
Practice will start in the middle of April wiith the league running from May until October. Interested parties can call Don LaRoche at (401) 766-1467 or Nick Haddad at (401) 465-8652.
Pawt. & Prov. Figure Skating Club accepting registrations for spring program
PAWTUCKET — The Pawtucket & Providence Figure Skating Club is accepting registrations for its spring Learn to Skate Program. Lessons are appropriate for either hockey or figure skating and are available for skaters ages three through adult. The next session started on Thursday, April 6. Classes are held at Lynch Arena.
Lessons will take place from 6-7 p.m. Skaters under age 5 will have a 25-minute lesson only. Participants must have their own skates. Discount coupons are available on our website.
