WOONSOCKET — Margaret “Maggie” Collard, 76, formerly of Kennedy Manor, Clinton Street, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the loving wife of Aldor Collard. They were married on Jan. 21, 1967.

Born and raised in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Doris ( Rousseau) Rousseau. She resided in Woonsocket for most of her life, and also lived in North Smithfield for several years.

She was employed at several businesses, including Mammoth Mart, Kings, Mars and Caldor for many years before retiring.

Maggie was the past president of the Kennedy Manor Associatio­n. She was an avid bingo player, could play a good hand of cards, and saw new places through her travels. Maggie will be remembered as a devoted mother and cherished her grandchild­ren and great- grandchild­ren.

In addition to her husband of 50 years, she is survived by her daughters, Doreen Spink and her husband William of Florida; Patricia Belanger and her husband Gary of Woonsocket; and Paula Dumas and her husband Ron of Manville. She was the mother of the late Michael Collard, and sister of Edward Rousseau of Texas and his late wife Sally. She was the grandmothe­r of Loribeth, Melissa, Kasey and Sara Dumas, and greatgrand­mother of Tyler, Veronica, Ian, Briana and Benjamin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
