Don’t miss the Weaver Library Farmers Market

-

EAST PROVIDENCE — Taking a vacation this week? Be sure to stop by the Weaver Library Farmers Market on Thursday, July 6, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Located on the library lawn at 41 Grove Ave., East Providence, the community market offers great foods, from the freshest fruits and vegetables, plants, and eggs to locally, hand made granola, soaps, lemonade, and even amazing treats for your favorite dog.

Thinking salads for the summer? Try the amazing oils and balsamic vinegars.

Bring a blanket and relax to the music of singer/songwriter Gary Fish from Little Compton. Fish also leads ‘Open Mike’ at the Sandywoods Center and his support of local musicians is inspiring.

The Weaver Library Farmers Market began in 2014 with the belief that farmers’ markets benefit communities by directly supporting small farmers and entrepreneurs, by positively influencing the community’s health, and by giving residents more opportunities to come together in a beautiful and safe outdoor space.

SNAP EBT, WIC, Senior Coupons, Debit and Credit welcomed. Thanks to a grant from Farm Fresh RI and Wholesome Wave, Weaver Library Farmers’ Market offers Bonus Bucks. For every $5 SNAP customers spend, they receive $2 FREE for fruits and vegetables.
