WOONSOCKET — Irvin A. Lavimodier­e, 94, of Diamond Hill Road, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2017 at home. He was the husband of the late Florence (Martinelli) Lavimodier­e. Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Victor and Maria (Cotnoir) Lavimodier­e. Mr. Lavimodier­e worked as a Sexton for the St. Louis/ All Saints Church on Rathbun Street for several years prior to retiring. He was a communican­t of All Saints Church and also a Eucharisti­c Minister for the Church bringing Communion to several Nursing Homes and to Landmark Medical Center for several years. He was a faithful and prayerful man. He loved his annual trips to Aruba with his family. He enjoyed playing his harmonica and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his three sons, Leo Lavimodier­e of Woonsocket, Victor Lavimodier­e of Virginia, and Frank Lavimodier­e of Cumberland; four daughters, Lucille Ackley and her husband James of Woonsocket, the late Eva Branchaud and her husband Normand of North Smithfield, Marie Corriveau and her husband Ed of Woonsocket, and Lisa Korzenowsk­i of Saundersto­wn, R. I.; 20 Grandchild­ren, 15 greatgrand­children, and one greatgreat-grandson. He was also the brother to the late Peter, Edwin, Willie, Helen, Sylvia, Alice and Florence.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the S. DIPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home Health & Hospice Care of Nursing Placement 334 East Ave Pawtucket, RI 02860 in Irvin’s name would be appreciate­d.
