Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will host Linda McMahon at annual dinner
LINCOLN – The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will holds its 27th Annual Dinner on February 8, 2018, at the Twin River Casino Events Center with Linda E. McMahon, Small Business Administration (SBA) administrator, attending as keynote speaker.
McMahon serves as the 25th administrator of the SBA and as a member of President Trump’s cabinet advocates on behalf of the 30 million small businesses in America, according to the Chamber.
McMahon is the co-founder and former chief executive officer of World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. ( WWE) based in Stamford, Conn. She helped develop WWE from a 13-person regional operation into a publicly traded global enterprise with more than 800 employees in its offices worldwide.
She has been a longtime advocate for women in leadership and business and has been widely recognized as one of the nation’s top executives.
In addition its keynote address on business, The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner is also the setting of its annual award ceremony including the presentation of the Barbara Burlingame Award to a Rhode Island elected official who has made outstanding contributions to the business community, and the Ben Mondor Award to individuals going above and beyond philanthropy in the local community.
Tickets for the dinner are $100 per person for Chamber members and $150 per person for non-members.
