Gisele A. Richardson

WOONSOCKET – Gisele A. Richardson, of East School Street, died peacefully on May 4, 2018, at the Philip Hulitar Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Walter F. Richardson. Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Plante) Hebert.

Gisele was a homemaker for most of her life. She also worked as a cashier at the former Texaco Gas Station on Social Street. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her grandchild­ren. Gisele had a great devotion to St. Jude.

She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Blanchette and her husband Dennis, four sons, Michael Richardson and his wife Denise, Mark Richardson, Walter E. Richardson and Michelle Boisvert, and Norman Richardson and Nancy Sullivan, all of Woonsocket; three sisters, Lise Tremblay, Muriel Cote and Pauline Ethier, all of Canada; eight grandchild­ren and six great-grandchild­ren.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m., from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
