St. Agatha Seniors meeting, May 2

WOONSOCKET — President Gerard Robidoux opened the meeting with a prayer for the late Rev. John Allard and for Lucille Galipeau.

Celebrating birthdays were Yvette Piette, Leno Brunetti and Jean Giguere. Leno and Violet Brunetti are celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary, while Omer and Estelle Legare ring in their 58th anniversary.

The Everly Brothers/Simon & Garfunkel tribute show scheduled for May 24 has been canceled. A new show has been introduced on Aug. 14. It is the Bobby Rydell show at Venus De Milo. Doris Pariseau is taking reservations for this show and the Eaglemania Tribute on June 19 and the Gloucester Harbor Cruise on July 26.

Winners of the special BINGO games were Frances Roy, Viollette Roy and Jeanne Theroux. Constance Seider was the caller.
