SMITHFIELD — Doris (Chamberlan­d) Danieli, 87, of Smithfield passed away Wed n esday, May 9, 2018. Born in Woonsocket, on Aug. 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Josephat and Irene (Marcoux) Chamberlan­d and is pre-deceased by brothers Bernard and Robert Chamberlan­d and sisters Teresa Picard and Jeannette Ballas.

She was the wife of the late Mario Danieli and is survived by three sons: Michael and his wife, Christine, of Tiverton, R.I.; Brian of Burrillvil­le; and Daniel of Smithfield. She is also survived by two grandchild­ren, Adrian Danieli of Tiburon, Calif., and Alexis (Danieli) Emond of Tiverton; seven great-grandchild­ren, Brianna Durfee, Gabrielle, Paul, Maxwell, and William Emond and Catarina and Julian Danieli and several nieces and nephews.

She was a former resident of Bellingham, Mass. and North Ft. Myers, Fla.

She was a member of the Italian Workingmen’s Club, Woonsocket for many years and volunteere­d at Oktoberfes­t each year. She will always be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving woman to family and friends.

The funeral and burial will be private. Donations in her name can be sent to the American Diabetes Associatio­n, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.

Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Cartier’s Funeral Home, Bellingham.
