St. Joseph’s Seniors

President Suzanne Grenier opened the July 10 meeting with a prayer for the sick and for the deceased.

Door prize winners were Roland Roy, Rita McCulan, Susan Giguere, Noella Theroux and John Charpentier.

Dollar-a-month winners were Roger Harnois, Connie Harnois, Gloria Belknap, Michelle McDonald, Carol Cournoyer and Aline Laramee.

Raffle ticket winners were Fran Roy, Rose Thurber, Linda Deguire, Bob Desjardins and Doris Hudon.

July birthdays were Gloria Belknap, Donna Bourgeois, Roger Dubois, Connie Ethier, Gerry Giguere, Henriette Harpin, Irene Lamoureux, Aline Laramee, Michelle McDonald, Rachel Odon, Terry Pawlitachek. Gerry Robidoux and Sandra Therrien.

St. Joseph Senior Group made a donation to St. Joseph Church for air conditioning use in hall of $500. Father Fisette was very thankful.

The group will hold a ham dinner on Tuesday, July 24, at noon in the Good Shepherd School Auditorium, 1200 Mendon Rd. Tickets are $10 per person.

A lobster bake at Foster’s in York Maine is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 2; and also a Vine to Wine Delight trip with a luncheon and Vermont Wineries wine tasting Oct. 11. For information or reservations for these trips, call Sue Grenier, 401-7667647, or Vickey Cadieux, 401-767-3337.
