President Gerard Robidoux opened the meeting with a prayer for Barbara DeCrestiforo and Claudette Desaulniers.

Celebrating birthdays were Gerard Robidoux, Gloria Belknap and Claire Paulhus. Oscar and Helen Nichols are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.

This week is the last week to buy a ticket for the Clam cake dinner scheduled for Aug. 15 as there will be no meetings on Aug. 1 and 8.

Door prize winners were Viollette Roy, Arlene Nichols, Lucille Lavoie and Denise Chamberlin.

Raffle winners were Marguerite Deragon, Albertine Deweirdt, Lucille Lajoie and Leo Robidoux.

Trips are being held to Foxwoods Casino on July 27 and Aug. 31. Also to Mohegan Sun on Sept. 14. Anyone interested should call Fran Roy at 401-356-1493 for more information.

Venus De Milo will feature Bobby Rydell on Aug. 14; Kenny & Donny Tribute will be on Sept. 11 in Danvers and the New Hampshire Turkey Train on Oct. 2. All these trips are open to anyone who is 55 or over. Please call Doris Pariseau at 597-0502 if interested and need more information.
