R.I. Boat Show announces January dates for ‘19 event

PROVIDENCE – Wood Boat and Motor Inc., of Warwick, has announced that it will be bringing the R.I. Boat Show to the Rhode Island Convention Center Jan. 4-6.

The three-day event will feature a wide variety of watercraft to suit the needs of both saltwater and fresh water enthusiasts and fishermen.

“Everyone should be able to have more fun on the water,” said Debbie A. Wood, p resident of Wood Boat and Motor, the show’s organizer. “With the inclusion of both saltwater and freshwater vendors, this show will offer a wider range of options than some more specialized events and will, we believe, offer more affordable options.”

In addition to boat sales, the show will feature vendors offering products ranging from custom rods to marine services such as boat repair, accessories (such as T-tops and rails), trailers, and safety products and services.

“If it has to do with boating, we’ll have it at the R.I. Boat Show,” said Wood.

The show will take place on the following dates and times:

● Friday, Jan. 4, noon to 7 p.m.

● Saturday, Jan. 5, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

● Sunday, Jan. 6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person throughout the show (free for children under the age of 12) and will be free for all women on Family Day, Jan. 6.
