Read with a therapy dog

“Wag and Read – Reading With a Therapy Dog” is a popular program in which children ages five and up can read to a specially trained and certified therapy dog. Reading aloud to an animal helps build confidence and is great for those struggling with dyslexia, speech problems, fear of dogs and much more. The library’s team of lovable dogs includes three different breeds. Each child may reserve one 15-minute time slot per month. Reading sessions take place on Monday evenings and registration is required. For more information or to register. call the library at 508-883-1931.
