• Museum of Work and Culture presents Valley Talks, starting at 1:30 p.m.; This year's series will focus on the Rhode Island Historical Society's 2020 theme, Spotlight Rhode Island, highlighti­ng performing arts and artists throughout the state. Today's topic: Rhode Island Internatio­nal Film Festival Executive Director George Marshall presents on the history of the festival, which began in Woonsocket, and screen 2019 Festival winner “A Sister.”

• MEAT RAFFLE: Our Saviour's Church, 500 Smithfield Road; Doors open at 6:15 p.m.; Raffle begins at 7 p.m.; FREE light supper with beverage and dessert will be served. There will be 10 meat raffles, split-the-pot, a penny social, a gift card raffle, consolatio­n and attendance prizes “freebies” and much more.
