ST. AGATHA SENIORS JAN. 15
President Gerard Robidoux opened the with a prayer for Paul McDonald, Therese Hebert and the late Doris Souza. Celebrating a birthday was Leo Robidoux.
The members welcomed back Martha Cote after a long absence and new member Janice Allard.
Door prize winners were: Marie Gomes, Richard Deguire, Roger Roy and Yoshi Loya.
Raffle winners were: Linda Deguire, Alice L’Heureux,
Lucienne Barbeau and Gerard Robidoux.
The 2020 schedule for meals are available at all meetings. The first meal will be on March 11 celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with corned beef and cabbage. The price is $10.
The 2020 casino trip cchedule is also available. The first trip will be to Mohegan Sun on Feb. 14. The cost is $25 per person. Call Fran Roy at 356-1493 for reservations and information. Other trip available is to the MGM Casino on March 13.
Winners of the special Bingo games were: Doris Pariseau, Jocelyn Joyal, Claire Theroux, Carol Jalbert and Jeanne Gregoire. Constance Seider was the caller.
Pitch winners were: Robert Laplante, Roger Roy and Normand Piette. Serving coffee and pastries were: Jeanne Theroux, Marguerite Deragon, Estelle Legare and Fran Roy.
ST. JOSEPH MEETING OF JAN. 14
President, Fran Roy, opened the meeting with prayers for the sick: Monique Noel, Barbara Carpentier, Jeanne Savaria, and Paul McDonald; and for the deceased: Irene Sarachamon, Ruth Leduc (Donna Bourgeois’s mother), Allan Souza (Claudette Souza’s husband) and Doris Souza (Claudette’s motherin-law).
Membership dues and the Monthly Club are being collected at every meeting.
Starting this month, all casino trips will be $25. The date for Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun trips for 2020 are on the table. The St. Joseph cards with officers names and contact numbers are on the front table. The 2020 schedule of meetings, meals, Foxwoods trips, parties etc. are on the front table.
Members should be reminded to listen to radio WOON or WNRI for any storm cancellations.

St. Joseph’s first Foxwoods trip is scheduled for Jan. 31. This includes a $10 Slot Play and Free Buffet entered on Play card. St Agatha’s Mohegan Sun trip is on Feb. 14. This includes $15 Spin of the Wheel and a free breakfast or lunch buffet. St Agatha’s MGM trip is scheduled for March 13 and includes $20 Slot Play and a $20 food credit to South End Market. St. Agatha’s Atlantic City trip on May 3-5 includes $20 Slot Play and two $25 food vouchers. The insurance for this trip went up this year and is now $30.
No Wildwood trip is scheduled for this year. However, there will be a Penn Dutch trip, a Red Sox game, and an Aqua Turf Lobster Bake. More information will be available at future meetings.
At the March 24 meeting, a corned beef and cabbage meal is being offered. Tickets will go on sale starting at our Feb. 11 meeting.
