B2ST21 $3 $uthorities are offering a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man accused in the e ecution-style killings of five men at a social club in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood 30 years ago, officials said Tuesday.
Hung Tien 3ham, now 60, and two others are accused of shooting si men at close-range while they played cards on -an. 12, 1 0. 2ne man survived. 3ham’s alleged accomplices are serving life sentences after being arrested in China and returned to the U.S., but 3ham has never been found.
-oseph Bonavolonta, special agent in charge of the Boston FBI office, urged anyone who knows anything about 3ham’s whereabouts to come forward, saying no amount of information is too small or irrelevant.
“:e will not rest until Hung Tien 3ham is located, arrested and brought to justice,” Bonavolonta said.
3ham, a 9ietnamese national of Chinese descent, was last seen in Bangkok, Thailand, in the mid1 0s. The FBI says he was known to be a “big spender who liked flashy cars and cognac.”
The FBI has released crime scene photos, an age-progressed photo of 3ham, and are launching an international publicity campaign in a renewed effort to track him down.
$uthorities have never established a motive in what Bonavolonta called “one of the bloodiest massacres in Boston history.” 3ham is also wanted by Boston police for another killing that happened four days before the social club slayings, Bonavolonta said.
