1969 Central Falls’ Doug Knapp, a 6-foot-4 senior lefthander, captured the Blackstone Valley schoolboy scoring crown with 459 points in 20 games for a dominating 23.0 points-per-game average. Rounding out the top six point-getters are another southpaw John Stafford of Lincoln (17.1), Pawtucket West’s Dennis Piche (16.6), Danny McKee of Cumberland (15.9), CF’s Bob Pelletier (15.9) and in sixth place with a 14.0 mark is George Coderre of Sacred Heart Academy.

1989 The steady guard play of Amy Corrigan and Mari Ocampo along with the scoring of Claudia DeFaria, Susette Dasilva and Brenda Rattray enabled Central Falls to shake off a pesky East Greenwich quintet for 56-47 victory in a Class B quarterfinal contest. DeFaria canned a game-high 17 points, Dasilva 11 and Rattray 10, while Corrigan dished out nine assists. “We could never really pull away,” said Warrior coach Caz Malec. “In the end, we had the beef inside and just had more horses than they did.”

1999 Brad Booth, Matt Daigneault and Tyler Sliney combined for 38 points as Lincoln crushed Scituate 6344 to finish with a final 17-3 record in Division 2-North winding up tied atop the standings. Booth tossed in 16 points and Daigneault and Sliney contributed 11 apiece for the Lions. Lincoln had a 47-44 loss to Davies Tech switched to a victory as the Patriots used an ineligible player in that game and wound up forfeiting nine of their 10 wins this season.
