BELLINGHAM, MA — Alexandra M. (Janik) (Aleksandro­wicz) Alexander, 102, of Bellingham, MA passed away at home on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 with family by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Alfred T. Aleksandro­wicz. Born in Woonsocket, RI on April 27, 1918, she is the loving mother of Stephen and his wife Brenda Aleksandro­wicz of Blackstone, MA and Joan and her husband Gerald Marchand of Bellingham, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchild­ren Amy and her husband Daniel Staples, Daniel and his wife Melisa Aleksandro­wicz, Lisa and her husband Scott Knief, Sandra and her husband Thomas Ferreira, and Michael and his wife Erica Marchand; and 13 great-grandchild­ren. She is the sister of the late Edmund Janik.

She was a lifelong resident of Bellingham and had worked in sales at the Franklin Mill Store for many years until retiring. Previously she worked at Bouffard Upholstery and a member of the Pioneers Telephone, working as a telephone operator in the Woonsocket area.

She was an avid sewer, knitter, reader and enjoyed making puzzles, playing cards and loved to cook. She was a talented seamstress designing clothes and making custom drapes. She loved being with family, her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren, and will be greatly missed.
