CUMBERLAND – Jeanne R. Robert, 79, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the Philip Hulitar, Hope Health Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Roger J. Robert Jr. They were married for 53 years.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Jo- seph and Jeannette (DesJardins) Racine. Jeanne resided in Cumberland for more than 55 years, previ- ously residing in North At- tleboro.

She was a member of the Cumberland Senior Center, BVCAP, and was previously a troop leader for Cub Scouts and Brownies.

Jeanne enjoyed motor- cycling, sewing, boating, fishing and digging for clams and quahogs. She was a boat owner for 50 years and enjoyed her time spent on the boat with her family including travels to Martha's Vineyard and Block Island. She also en- joyed hot air balloon and glider plane rides, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, es- pecially her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. Jeanne also enjoyed dec- orating and artwork such as pastel portraits done in chalk, she was also an avid fan of UFC boxing matches.

After graduating from High School, she worked at Carol Cable of Pawtuck- et in the personnel office and also the print shop. She also worked for Dunkin Donuts for eleven years as a finisher.

She is survived by her three children: Jim Robert and his wife Cynthia of Bellingham; Kim Sweet and her husband Stephen of Sterling, CT., and Julie Robert and spouse Richard Belisle of Pawtucket. Her brother John Racine of Zephyr Hills, FL., four grandchild­ren; Jeff Robert, Deanna Benner and husband Dwight, Tyler Belisle, and Meghan Belisle, four great-grandchild­ren; Alexander Robert, Kelly Benner, Shane Benner, and Colin Benner, along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rosemary Curran.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Jeanne's Life Celebratio­n to begin with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM, and continuing on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM followed by a Prayer Service will be held at 11 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 7 Mill Brook Road Wilton, NH 03086.
