CENTRAL FALLS – Behind Jaiden Mills’ complete-game two-hitter where he faced one batter over the minimum as the Pawtucket co-op baseball team downed Blackstone Valley Prep/ Central Falls, 4-0, on Monday at Macomber Stadium.

A sophomore who earlier this season tossed an immaculate inning, Mills needed just 66 pitches to get through seven innings. He struck out eight and didn’t issue a walk. Mills retired the game’s first 10 batters before BVPCF third baseman Noah Ferreira broke up the no-hit bid with a one-out single in the fourth inning.

TENNIS P/SRA EARNS FIRST WIN PAWTUCKET – The Ponaganset/St. Raphael co-op team registered its first win of the season in thrilling fashion Monday – a 4-3 win over South Kingstown at Slater Park.

GOLF LINCOLN TOPS BRONCOS BURRILLVIL­LE – In the season-opening match for both programs, Lincoln edged Burrillvil­le, 180-181, in Northern Division action at Crystal Lake Golf Club (par 36).

Lincoln senior Jack Lawson took home team medalist honors, firing a four-over 40. Burrillvil­le junior Dylan Franklin recorded a birdie on the par-four, 278-yard No. 9 hole as part of a team-low plus-seven 43.
