Special train tickets available for Brady induction ceremony at Gillette in Foxboro
FOXBORO — The MBTA is providing special event train service to the New England Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony of beloved quarterback Tom Brady June 12 at Gillette Stadium.
Round-trip tickets are scheduled to go on sale Monday. They are $20 and will be available for purchase beginning at 11 a.m. exclusively via the mTicket app.
Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains.
Those who travel to Gillette Stadium for the ceremony via the Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail service will not be able to return to Boston from the event via the special event train without purchasing a special event ticket.
The ceremony is scheduled for 7 to 9:30 p.m. June 12 and, in anticipation of a larger than usual crowd, is the team’s first Hall of Fame induction ceremony held inside the stadium.
The special event train will depart South Station at 4:15 p.m., with stops at Back Bay and Dedham Corporate Center before arriving at Foxboro Station at 5:15 p.m.
The last Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail train departs for Boston at 10:43 p.m., while the special event train will depart 30 minutes following the conclusion of the event.

For Brady fans looking for other transportation options, $25 stadium-side prepaid parking passes will go on sale to event ticketholders in mid-May.
The Patriots chose the 12th day of the sixth month of the year for the ceremony as they are two of the numbers most often associated with Brady’s 20-year Patriots career: his six Super Bowl championships and his iconic No. 12 uniform.
Special guest speakers, musical acts, and fireworks are planned.
