Housing: San Jose’s Housing Department has launched a podcast.

Glen High School’s mock trial team took home the countywide championship title this month. The team rose to the top after a month of competition via Zoom, where team members competed against 20 other area high schools, judged by working attorneys on their performance.

Hicklebee’s children’s bookstore is sponsoring online performances of “Peter Pan” by Peninsula Youth Theater today at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 1:30 p.m., followed by live behind-the-scenes discussions with the cast and crew. The show is part of PYT’s “Stories on Stage” series.

Earlier this year, IIliya Ghaderipoor, a fourth-grade student in teacher Pamela Craig’s class, was recognized for completing the highest number of online math lessons in the entire state.

After he chose to donate his winnings to diabetes research and Feed California 2021, his classmates followed suit. The class recently won a nationwide contest and opted to give their earnings to Second Harvest of Silicon Valley.
