WILLOW GLEN>> Presentati­on High School's Lantern League awarded $40,500 in grant funding to four community organizati­ons and $38,000 to the high school itself. The latter funds will be used for scholarshi­ps and student activity fees. Lantern League is a women's giving circle that pools its charitable gifts to fund educationa­lly oriented projects and programs for women and girls within the greater Bay Area.

The four organizati­ons to receive grants are the Campbell-based Eating Disorders Resource Center ($10,000); the Santa Clarabased Bill Wilson Center's Maternity Group Home Program ($10,000); the

San Jose-based CityTeam's House of Grace, a longterm recovery program for homeless women and their children ($10,000); Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative for its Girl Programs ($5,500); and the Palo Alto-based Children's Health Council for its Sand Hill School and Schwab Learning Center ($5,000).
