The nonprofit Cape Coral Animal Shelter holds its annual fundraising “Decade Party” on Saturday, March 10, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. It takes place at Wicked Dolphin Distillery, 131 SW 3rd Place, Cape Coral. “This year, the theme will be the 1960s,” explains shelter director Pamela Aubuchon. Countless volunteers continue to work hard to help raise funds in many different ways for the shelter/clinic, which is expected to open in 2018. Its motto is “Building a place for pets between homes.” To find out more information about the party and the shelter, visit capecoralanimalshel or call 239-800-9752.
