On April 26, the sev­enth an­nual Great Ladies Lun­cheon & Fash­ion Show ben­e­fit­ing the Alzheimer’s Drug Dis­cov­ery Foun­da­tion was held at the Ritz-Carl­ton, Wash­ing­ton, DC. PBS NewsHour an­chor Judy Woodruff hosted, and Wash­ing­ton Post colum­nist David Ig­natius pre­sented the 2017 Great Ladies Award to Sally Quinn for her work to fight Alzheimer’s. His Ex­cel­lency Ar­mando Var­ric­chio, Italy’s am­bas­sador to the US, and his wife, Mi­caela Barba­gallo, were honorary chair­per­sons. Guests en­joyed a rus­tic Ital­ian lunch and a run­way show by Brunello Cucinelli, pre­sented by event part­ner Neiman Mar­cus Mazza Gallerie.
