For more than 30 years, Prospect Home Care & Hospice in Woodland Park, Colo., has provided services to the rural frontier ranches in the western shadow of Pikes Peak through their Hospice, Home Care and Helping Hands divisions.

President and CEO Mary H. Barrowman shared that the organization is a community owned nonprofit group that serves a small population spread over mountain roads and requires grants and donations to survive. “We take care of community. Community takes care of us.”

This organization also recognizes the sacrifices of our military and veterans, and upon admission thanks them for their service and our freedom. Annually, near Veterans Day, they send another salute in the way of handcrafted cards. For their 2015 salute, Prospect Home Care & Hospice would appreciate receiving your beautifully decorated red, white and blue cards to share with the veterans they serve, making this year’s tribute extra special.
