Make one—or 50!—hol­i­day greet­ing cards in no time at all with these quick and easy de­signs.


Card­stock: white 110 lb., green, light blue, turquoise, red Stamps: New­ton’s Nook (Beau­ti­ful Baubles); Sunny Stu­dio (Hol­i­day Style) Ink pads: Ranger Archival (sap green, Wendy Vec­chi leaf green); Imagine Ver­saMark (wa­ter­mark) Amer­i­can Crafts clear em­boss­ing pow­der Gold cord New­ton’s Nook Beau­ti­ful Baubles die set Die-cut­ting ma­chine Em­boss­ing heat tool Nee­dle Tape Therm O Web: ad­he­sive run­ner, ad­he­sive foam squares, mini ad­he­sive dots

1. Form a 4¼ x 5½-inch card from white card­stock. 2. Cut a 4¼ x 5½-inch panel from green card­stock; ad­here to card.

3. Cut a 4 x 5¼-inch panel from white card­stock. Re­fer­ring to photo, stamp branches on panel with light green ink; re-stamp branches, slightly off­set­ting them with dark green ink. 4. Use wa­ter­mark ink to stamp three or­na­ments on other col­ors of card­stock. Sprin­kle em­boss­ing pow­der over im­ages and heat-set. 5. Die-cut or­na­ments.

6. De­ter­mine place­ment of or­na­ments on panel. Pierce holes in card­stock us­ing a nee­dle threaded with gold cord. Run cord through each hole and se­cure to back of panel with tape. Cut cords on front of panel to de­sired lengths and se­cure to backs of or­na­ments. Ad­here or­na­ments to panel with foam squares. 7. Tie three small bows from cord; ad­here to or­na­ments with ad­he­sive dots. 8. Stamp sen­ti­ment on panel with black ink. 9. Ad­here as­sem­bled panel to card front.

When stamp­ing with light and dark ink of the same color, al­ways start with lighter ink. By slightly off­set­ting the im­age, you will achieve a small amount of shadow and add depth to the stamped im­age.
