Beginning the journey

Cancer truly is a journey, one with highs, lows and unpredictable twists and turns along the way. It also can be a journey that ignites growth, builds strength and helps everyone affected by it to reflect on what is most important to them.

On the journey, remember these important points:

• Balance is important.

• Most people survive cancer.

• You’re not alone. There are many others who are going through the same process and many who have already done so.

• Knowledge is power. Learn as much as you can and seek out resources to help you.
