Caregiver-Volunteer Matches — a free program provided by Cancer Services of New Mexico that matches caregivers with volunteers who have been in the same role; info@cancerservicesnm.org | 505-259-9583 Casa Esperanza — an affordable home away from home for out-oftown cancer patients and their family members. Residents benefit from a free clinical counseling program and a patient navigation/survivor services program, designed to help access needed health, financial and social services. Holy Cross Hospital Cancer Support Services, supported by For the Health of It!, provides non-medical supports to people in Taos and Colfax counties who have cancer. Services include: health care navigation, support groups, housecleaning, massage and other modalities, dog walking, fitness or lifestyle coaching, and assistance with transportation or lodging. Hotel Partner Program — free or reduced-rate rooms at participating hotels in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Santa Fe for cancer patients and their caregivers traveling for treatment. Contact 1-800-227-2345. If traveling to other states for treatment, check out American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge program.
