The CATALINA staff would like to introduce you to Disney Official Artist Joe Kaminski and his original Mickey Mouse acrylic-on-canvas painting (pictured here) as the exclusive giveaway for CATALINA and CATALINA Stars readers and podcast listeners. Kaminski donated his original acrylic-on-canvas painting (a $5,000 value), promoted for the annual Epcot festival this year, as a giveaway prize in honor of CATALINA Stars magazine’s launch (and this CATALINA Happiness issue). Sponsor: The Sponsor of this Happiness Art Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) is CATALINA, with offices at 433 Plaza Real, Suite 275, Boca Raton, FL 33432. 2. Date of participation: The Sweepstakes begins on September 1, 2020 at 8:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on October 31, 2020 at 11:59pm ET. All completed entries must be received by October 31, 2020at 11:59pm ET. 3. Eligibility: Participants must be over 13 years of age, legal residents of the continental United States, with a valid Social Security Number (SS#) or Tax Identification Number (TIN), who have not won a prize from the Sponsor within the last 30 days. An eligible minor should have his/her parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enter. Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate or win the prize: (a) persons who from and after the first day of the Sweepstakes were or are employees or agents of Sponsor, or its respective subsidiaries or affiliates or the service agencies or independent contractors; (b) persons who are engaged in the development, production, distribution of materials, or drawing of Winner for this Sweepstakes; and (c) persons who are immediate family (spouse and parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) of or who reside in the same household as any person, whether or not related, in either of the preceding categories. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its exclusive and absolute discretion, to annul, cancel and terminate your entry and to disqualify you from the Sweepstakes, in each case without notice and without obligation or responsibility to you, if Sponsor determines that you have participated in the Sweepstakes without meeting all the eligibility requirements stated herein. 4. How to Enter: The Campaign must be entered by submitting an entry using the online form provided at CatalinaMag. com/Giveaway. The entry must fulfill all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of CATALINA/ Kangareu, LLC. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of [your company name]. 5. Number of entries allowed per person: Only one (1) entry per person/ email address. Multiple entries will be void. 6. Method of Selecting Winner: Sponsor or its designated judges will select one (1) potential Prize Winner in a random drawing of all eligible entries received. 7. Date Winner will be selected: The potential Winner will be selected by October 31, 2020. 8. Method of notifying Winner: The potential Winner will be notified within (3) days of the selection by telephone, email or mail. If Sponsor cannot reach the potential Winner within three (3) days, or if the potential Winner is ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, the potential Winner will be disqualified and Sponsor may select an alternate potential Winner according to these Official Rules, time permitting. 9. Manner and date to receive Prize: The prize will be shipped to winner w/in 30 days after selection. Taxes, gratuities, and other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically identified in these Official Rules as being provided are the sole responsibility of the Winner. No transfer, sale, or substitution for the Prize or components of the Prize allowed except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. The Prize may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded, commissioned or redeemed for cash value. No elements of the Prize may be substituted, except at Sponsor’s discretion, and the elements of the Prize are non-commissionable. 10. Prize and estimated value: One (1) Prize Winner will receive original artwork by Joseph Kaminski, official Disney artist. The value of the grand prize is approximately 5,000 Dollars ($5,000). If the actual value is less, Winner will not receive the difference. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All prize details will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All entry forms, if applicable, will become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned to the participant. Each participant (and, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) agrees to permit Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, city and state of residence, photograph, voice, or any likeness for advertising or publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter devised, in any manner, worldwide in perpetuity, for no additional compensation or permission or notification. EACH PARTICIPANT (AND, IF AN ELIGIBLE MINOR, HIS/HER PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN) UNDERSTANDS AND ACCEPTS THAT THE ONLY COMPENSATION HE/ SHE WILL RECEIVE FOR GRANTING THIS RIGHT IS THE PUBLICITY. HE/SHE MAY RECEIVE BY THE PUBLICATION OR BROADCASTING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HIM/HER AS A PARTICIPANT IN THE SWEEPSTAKES HEREIN. Sponsor’s decisions will be final and binding in all respects. To claim prize, Winner will be required to provide identification acceptable to Sponsor as well as execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited) within the time period specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner selected. If the Winner is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian who is 21 years of age or older and possess valid ID must claim the prize, and return all required documents as specified above. If Winner is ineligible; cannot be notified as described above, or does not take possession of the prize as stated above, the potential Winner will be disqualified and Sponsor may select a new Winner if time permits. No part of the Prize will be replaced if lost or stolen. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or terminate this Sweepstakes for any reason, including if fraud, technical failures or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its solediscretion. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its discretion, select a winner from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to time of such action. Sponsor may disqualify any person whom Sponsor, in its sole discretion, considers to have violated these Official Rules or any other aspect of the Sweepstakes and void all associated entries. The participant(s) (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) acknowledge that this Sweepstakes is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Inc.
