Holidays

For vacation for the holidays, I’m spending them in Florida this year. But I do miss the snow and being cold and then just sitting next to the fireplace. There’s no reason to have hot cocoa if it’s hot outside. But, I guess, I’ve found some bright sides to it. I don’t have to have to stop and put on a coat and boots before going outside. And when I’d go to school, and it snowed, my boots would have snow on them and the floor would get all wet. The wet puddle would be there all day. Even at the end of the school day. But I still kind of miss my wet feet. Because it was refreshing when I sat next to the fireplace. My feet would turn warm after they were cold. This year there’s no fireplace because it’s always hot. And there’s no snow to scoop out of a driveway or sidewalk. I can always ride my bike too. There are some bright sides here. And there’s a bright side to having snow. There are always bright sides. ■
