Deck the Halls Streets

Catron Courier - - Front Page -

This year, Silver City MainStreet has done a lot of fund raising, and with a generous donation from Town and Country Garden Club, purchased decorations for all of the street poles downtown.

“We have also purchased a new Downtown Silver City Arch decoration. This decoration does not require electricity making it much easier to install. Previously, many extension cords were used to light the wreath and the cords were stolen each year. We appreciate the Firefighters from the Town of Silver City who install the decorations each year, states Patrick Hoskins, Board President of Silver City MainStreet.

The wreath will be installed on the side of the Murray Ryan Visitor Center to welcome visitors and for the enjoyment of residents.

MainStreet is also hosting a merchant window decoration contest, so it will be even more fun for children and families to come downtown.”
