Who Gets Will?

This week on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, fingernails are being gnawed to nubby nothings in anticipation of Judge Mcmullen’s ruling on Bill and Katie’s custody battle. Were Ridge’s words enough to sway the magistrate? We’ll soon find out!

The In Depth Story: Biding their time at the Forrester Creations offices, Hope, Eric, Quinn and Steffy are anxious to receive word from the hearing. Quinn, Eric and Hope each voice their opinion that Thorne would be a better role model for Will than Bill could ever be. Quinn declares that, given what she knows about Bill, he’s got a snowball’s chance in hell of winning custo- dy of the little boy. Despite her own tumultuous history with Bill, Steffy can’t help but take his side. Flaws notwithstanding, Bill was a great father, she insists. ( Needless to say, they’ll have to agree to disagree on that count!)

Meanwhile, as Katie and Bill await the judge’s ruling, the emotional mother interrupts the proceed- ings to get something off her chest. This lawsuit, she maintains, was always about the well- being of Will and was never meant to punish Bill. Though there is deep feeling behind her words, it’s clear that the antagonism this legal battle has created between Will’s parents may be long-lasting, regardless of who comes out victorious.

With Judge Mcmullen feeling the pressure of Ridge’s blackmail, he begins to issue his ruling — but as to how this embittered and divisive case will finally conclude, all guesses are off!

Katie may have had Will’s best interest at heart, but Dollar Bill ain’t the kind of guy who is used to not getting his way!

Ridge’s blackmail of Judge Mcmullen may very well backfire!
