Joan H. Magee
Joan H. Magee (nee Heiser), 82, of Earleville,
MD, passed away on October 6, 2018. Joan was born in Paulsboro and resided in West Deptford for over 30 years before moving to Earleville.
She was the co-owner of Magee Locksmith in Woodbury. Joan was the choir director and organist at Colonial Manor United Methodist Church for over 50 years and at Cecilton United Methodist Church and a member of the churches Women’s Club. She was a member of the Cecilton Lions Club, the West Deptford Little Theater, and was an avid bowler.
Joan is survived by her husband of 64 years, John C. “Jack” Magee Jr.; children: Cindy (Jim) Connelly, of Woodbury Heights; Jack III (Elaine), of Thorofare; Colleen (Michael) Di Rienzo, of West Deptford; sister, Diane Schoettle; grandchildren: Cailin (Justin) Tallent, Jamie Connelly, Carli, Kate and Michael Di Rienzo, Erin (Nick) Zorio, Kelly (Tim) Tieng, Cara (Ken) Abernathy, John IV, Kyle and Olivia Magee; and great grandchildren: Aida, Nicholas, Natalea, Noah and Nashville.
Visitation Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. at DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME, 171 Delaware St., Woodbury, NJ. Interment in Eglington Cemeter y.
