Joan H. Magee (nee Heiser), 82, of Earleville,

MD, passed away on Oc­to­ber 6, 2018. Joan was born in Pauls­boro and resided in West Dept­ford for over 30 years be­fore mov­ing to Earleville.

She was the co-owner of Magee Lock­smith in Wood­bury. Joan was the choir di­rec­tor and or­gan­ist at Colo­nial Manor United Methodist Church for over 50 years and at Ce­cil­ton United Methodist Church and a mem­ber of the churches Women’s Club. She was a mem­ber of the Ce­cil­ton Lions Club, the West Dept­ford Lit­tle The­ater, and was an avid bowler.

Joan is sur­vived by her hus­band of 64 years, John C. “Jack” Magee Jr.; chil­dren: Cindy (Jim) Con­nelly, of Wood­bury Heights; Jack III (Elaine), of Tho­ro­fare; Colleen (Michael) Di Rienzo, of West Dept­ford; sis­ter, Diane Schoet­tle; grand­chil­dren: Cailin (Justin) Tal­lent, Jamie Con­nelly, Carli, Kate and Michael Di Rienzo, Erin (Nick) Zo­rio, Kelly (Tim) Tieng, Cara (Ken) Aber­nathy, John IV, Kyle and Olivia Magee; and great grand­chil­dren: Aida, Ni­cholas, Natalea, Noah and Nashville.

Vis­i­ta­tion Wed­nes­day 6 to 8 p.m. and Thurs­day 10 a.m. un­til the ser­vice at 11 a.m. at DAVIS & WAG­NER FU­NERAL HOME, 171 Delaware St., Wood­bury, NJ. In­ter­ment in Egling­ton Ceme­ter y.
