John H. Bran­den­berger Jr.


John H. Jr., “Jack”, Bran­den­berger 90, of

MD, passed away on Oc­to­ber 6, 2018. He was born on Dec. 25, 1927 in Wilm­ing­ton, DE, to the late John H. Bran­den­berger Sr. and Florence (Bon­sall) Bran­den­berger.

Jack grew up in Wilm­ing­ton, DE, and af­ter high school, he was em­ployed by Sun Oil Com­pany where he was pro­moted to the Sun Oil Honor Club. He re­tired to Ch­e­sa­peake City af­ter many ded­i­cated years. Jack was a proud char­ter mem­ber of the North Shrine Club and was a 32nd de­gree Ma­son. He was also a mem­ber of Royal Or­der of Jester No. 164, Gran­ite Lodge 34, and Trin­ity United Methodist Church in Ch­e­sa­peake City, MD.

Jack is sur­vived by his son, John H. Bran­den­berger III (Judy), of Rock Hall, MD; grand­son, John H. Bran­den­berger IV, of Ch­e­sa­peake City, MD; grand­daugh­ter, Joan M. Bran­den­berger Chase (Austin), of Lander, WY; and sis­ters in law: Betty Houck, of Me­dia, PA; and Jacquelyn Ryan, of Ch­e­sa­peake City, MD.

Ser­vices for Jack will be held on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 15, 11 a.m. at Town Point United Methodist Church, 61 Port Her­man Road, Ch­e­sa­peake City, MD 21915. A visi­ta­tion will be­gin at 10 a.m.
