Ce­cil County dom­i­nates All-Susque­hanna di­vi­sion girls’ soc­cer team

Ce­cil County was well rep­re­sented when the Al­lSusque­hanna Di­vi­sion girls’ soc­cer teams were re­vealed ear­lier this month.

Ten lo­cal play­ers earned spots on first team, while eight county ath­letes were fea­tured on sec­ond team.

All told, Ris­ing Sun led the way with six play­ers across both teams, while Bo­hemia Manor had four, North East and Elk­ton both fea­tured three and Per­ryville had two play­ers hon­ored.

For­ward An­na­lia Webb, mid­fielder Tori Pi­etuszka and de­fender Katie Brooks earned first team for the Tigers, who went un­beaten in the Susque­hanna Di­vi­sion and fell in penalty kicks to Fall­ston in the 2A East Re­gion Sec­tion Fi­nal. Ad­di­tion­ally, Ris­ing Sun placed for­ward Abby Back­ert, de­fender Katie Wil­lis and goal­keeper Kira Wat­son (at-large) on sec­ond team.

Bo­hemia Manor fin­ished sec­ond in the di­vi­sion and ad­vanced to the 1A East Re­gion Sec­tion I Fi­nal. The Ea­gles fea­tured for­ward Hanna Clarke, mid­fielder Katie O’Hare and de­fender Bai­ley Pressler on first time and goal­keeper Ri­ley Pi­nato on sec­ond team.

The In­di­ans, who placed third in the di­vi­sion, fea­tured for­ward Mia Cud­more, mid­fielder Caro­line Roberts and de­fender Emma Hag­gerty on first time. Elk­ton, which placed fourth, fea­tured goal­keeper Lexi Ze­oli on first team and mid­fielder Kelsey Cal­darelli and de­fender Caro­line Parker on sec­ond team.

The Pan­thers cel­e­brated for­ward Aaliyah Ro­driguez and mid­fielder Mad­die Carr on sec­ond team.
