Ce­cil Col­lege dropped its fourth straight game Wed­nes­day, fall­ing to vis­it­ing Al­le­gany Col­lege of Mary­land, 92-88, in Mary­land JUCO men’s bas­ket­ball ac­tion.

Fresh­man Ja­cob Falko (Tri-State Chris­tian) led all scor­ers with 22 points to go along with two re­bounds and three as­sists, while Cor­nell Corbin con­trib­uted 18 points and eight re­bounds off the bench for the Seawhawks (2-5 over­all, 0-2 con­fer­ence), who led 46-45 at half­time.

Shylier Ring­gold added 15 points, three boards and two steals in re­serve and Darnell Jenk­ins chipped 11 points for Ce­cil, which re­turns to ac­tion at home on Satur­day.

Demar­cus De­mo­nia (seven re­bounds) and An­toine Lewis (four boards, five as­sists), and Yo­hannes Ut­sey (seven re­bounds, five as­sists) all had 19 points and Bran­don Hodge con­trib­uted 16 points, five as­sists and three steals for the Tro­jans (4-4, 2-1).

Elk­ton grad­u­ate Ty Se­gure had a triple-dou­ble as Ce­cil Col­lege over­whelmed vis­it­ing Al­le­gany Col­lege of Mary­land, 85-39, in Mary­land JUCO women’s bas­ket­ball ac­tion on Wed­nes­day.

Ta­mara Evans led all scor­ers with 22 points to go along with 15 re­bounds and three as­sists, while Se­gure had a mon­ster game of 18 points, 18 re­bounds and 11 as­sists for the Sea­hawks (1-3 over­all, 1-1 con­fer­ence), who re­ceived 21 points and 16 boards from Amya Mum­ford. Kayla Thomp­son (Bo­hemia Manor) nar­rowly missed a dou­ble­dou­ble with 15 points and eight re­bounds for Ce­cil, which led 43-13 at half­time.
