Lil Lack Yoga Chair Yoga Class
Chair yoga is practiced seated on a chair or standing using the chair for stability and to aid with balance. This is great class for anyone wanting a gentle and safe practice, and for those that are seated much of the day and looking for movement techniques that can be practice throughout the work day. Qi Gong is a wonderful alternative to regular exercise and a gentle way to stay active. Practicing Qi Gong is a safe way to strengthen the body, reduce stress, improve sleep, lower blood pressure and improve balance. This ancient Chinese form of exercise links gentle movements, breathing exercises and meditation to cultivate, channel and balance vital energy to keep you healthy. PARKS & RECREATION Fairy Garden (Recycled Materials)
Has your little one ever wondered what makes fairies so magical? By the end of this class your little one will have a mini
fair y garden made of recycled materials. We will be using paint in this class so please make sure to wear clothes that can be ruined. Class will be held on Fridays, starting November 16th, from 11:15 am — 12 pm at the Rising Sun Community Center. Cost for the 4 week session is $32.
High School Futsal League
Cecil County Parks and Recreation will be offering High School Co-ed Futsal at the Cecil Arena. 5v5, minimum of 8 players and a max of 12 per roster. Co-ed minimum of 1 player from each gender must be playing at all times. Teams will be self coached. CCPR will supply a ref. 100% non contact play. Games will be held on Friday nights during the regular season, and Friday and Saturday nights during playoffs at the Cecil Arena. Please remember this is a NO CLEAT facility. Games will start at 9 pm during the regular season. Registration fee is $35 per person. 8 week league. Games begin on November 30th.
Kickball (Chesapeake City E.S)
Cecil County Parks and Rec will be offering Kickball for 6 weeks at Chesapeake City Elementary School. Kickball will be held each Tuesday, from dismissal to 4:30 pm. The fee is $32.00. Come out and enjoy the fun!!! Class will run from November 13th — December 18th for children in grades 3-5. Children must be picked up no later than 4:30.

Drop In will be held at Perryville Middle School from 6-8 pm every Monday as of October 8th. Cost of the drop in is $5 per person. Cecil County Parks and Recreation will offer basketball training at Cherry Hill Middle School starting Saturday, November 10th. Training will be held each Saturday morning from 10 am — 12 pm. Coach Robert Price will train athletes to develop healthy habits while training both the mind and body. Focus will be put on consistent improvement of weaknesses and development of skills in defensive technique, ball handling, shooting technique, passing, rebounding, and more. Players will learn to build a love for the game and develop a killer instinct through various drills and stations. Cost for the 5 week session is $50.

YMCA Youth Basketball Program
First come first ser ve only. Open spaces will fill up quickly. Players are taught basketball fundamentals and given the opportunity to demonstrate their learned skills
in games. All players are placed on teams within their geographic school location.
No phone-in registrations are accepted. For students 1st through 8th grades.
Teams practice once a week in their community and play an eight-game schedule at the YMCA. Every player will receive a New YMCA Basketball Reversible tank top.
New “Run with the Big Dawgs” season ending tournament will be free for the older boys and girls divisions!!

BASEBALL Six-week baseball camp
St. Georges Tech High and John Dickinson High are hosting six-week baseball camps beginning in January. Sessions are on weekends.
Head coach Jeff Rodgers (St. Georges) and head coach Matt Robinson and former head coach John Nelson (John Dickinson) will direct the programs, respectively, in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy.
Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to seven players per coach. Sessions are offered in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning. Space is limited. Registration is now under way.
