Ge­or­gianna “Ge­orgie” Rote, 84, of Boals­burg, died Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 9, 2019, at Mount Nit­tany Med­i­cal Cen­ter.

Born Septem­ber 18, 1934, in State Col­lege, she was the daugh­ter of the late Don­ald S. and Blanche Evey Dickson. On Fe­bru­ary 20, 1955, she mar­ried Don­ald A. Rote, Jr., who sur­vives.

Also sur­viv­ing are three chil­dren, Kim­berly Orn­dorf and her hus­band, Steven, of Al­len­town, Les­lie Dills and her hus­band, Richard, of Storm­stown and Brian Rote, of Portage, Ind.; one sis­ter, Rita Eden and her hus­band, Al, of Knoxville, Tenn.; four grand­chil­dren, Lindsey Mudd and her hus­band, Tim, Jenna Orn­dorf, Nathan Dills and Jes­sica McDer­mott and her hus­band, Michael; four great- grand­chil­dren, Michael and Owen Mudd, Noah Wash­ing­ton and Natalie McDer­mott.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded in death by her brother, Don­ald Dickson; and a great- grand­son, Matthew McDer­mott.

She was a 1952 grad­u­ate of Belle­fonte High School.

Ge­orgie was a sales rep­re­sen­ta­tive for Avon for over 40 years and also sold and hosted Sarah Coven­try jew­elry home par­ties.

Her fam­ily was of her high­est im­por­tance and al­ways came first. Gardening was a se­cond pas­sion that she en­joyed.

Visi­ta­tion will be from 10: 00 a. m. un­til 12: 00 p. m., on Mon­day, Jan­uary 14, 2019, at Koch Fu­neral Home, 2401 South Ather­ton Street, State Col­lege. A fu­neral ser­vice will fol­low at 12: 00 p. m., at the fu­neral home, with the Pas­tor Todd Tem­ple­ton of­fi­ci­at­ing.

Burial will be in Cen­tre County Memo­rial Park.
