Mariners: Second baseman Robinson Cano apologized to his teammates, the organization and the fans for his 80-game suspension for violating baseball’s drug agreement. Cano tested positive for Furosemide, a diuretic that can be used to mask performance-enhancing drugs. Cano said it was prescribed to him in the Dominican Republic to address a medical issue. Yankees: New York recalled outfielder Clint Frazier from Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes Barre. To make room on the roster, righthander David Hale was designated for assignment. Hale pitched 5 innings in relief of struggling righthander Sonny Gray in Friday’s 6-2 loss to Toronto.
