Re­nee’ Gar­ri­son Cren­shaw

FORT MILL - Re­nee’ Gar­ri­son Cren­shaw, 67, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away on Au­gust 03, 2018 af­ter a long ill­ness.

Re­nee’ was born in Lans­ing, Michi­gan on Au­gust 14, 1950. She met Bill Cren­shaw while work­ing for South­ern Bell Tele­phone and they were mar­ried in 1980.

Re­nee’ was a lifelong ad­vo­cate for an­i­mals and spent the last 40 years res­cu­ing, fos­ter­ing, adopt­ing and sav­ing the lives of thou­sands of aban­doned dogs and cats. She was one of the first to re­ally be­gin­mak­ing pos­i­tive changes for an­i­mals in her com­mu­nity.

Re­nee’ is sur­vived by her hus­band, Wil­liam Cren­shaw, sib­lings Ranelle Mathews, Rodd Gar­ri­son and Ross Gar­ri­son, nieces Kasey Gar­ri­son and Ce­leste Payne, nephew Travis John­son and stepchil­dren Elisa Cren­shaw Sole and Jeff Cren­shaw.
