CHAR­LOTTE - Lynn As­bury Perkin­son, 52, of Char­lotte, passed away on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 6th, fol­low­ing a coura­geous bat­tle with Mul­ti­ple Scle­ro­sis. Lynn is sur­vived by her mother Vicki La­timer and step fa­ther Ram­say G. La­timer of Pfafftown, North Carolina; hus­band of 25 years, David Perkin­son; daugh­ter Chloe Rose Perkin­son; sis­ter Christie Knap­per and her hus­band Wade of Knoxville, Ten­nessee; brother Gar­ri­son La­timer of Colum­bus, Ohio; neph­ews Joel and Braden Knap­per & niece Cam­ryn Knap­per. Lynn was born on May 30th, 1966 in Rock­ing­ham County. She grad­u­ated from West Forsyth High School in 1984. In ad­di­tion to get­ting her Cos­me­tol­ogy Li­cense, Lynn worked many years in Bank­ing and more re­cently was em­ployed by Chil­dress Klein Prop­er­ties be­fore her health de­clined. Lynn was an ex­tremely cre­ative per­son! She en­joyed paint­ing and truly had a pas­sion for col­lect­ing an­tiques! Tea par­ties were a fa­vorite of Lynn’s! Lynn was an an­i­mal lover, pro­vid­ing a great home and much love to sev­eral cats and sev­eral cocker spaniels through the years! Lynn was one of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses. She longed for the New World, where she could walk again and be fully healthy! A Memo­rial Ser­vice will be held on Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 20th, at 2pm at the Mount Holly King­dom Hall of Je­ho­vah’s Wit­nesses. 1736 Kelly Road, Mount Holly NC 28120. Lynn will be truly missed!
