CHAR­LOTTE - Madge Par­ish Case Holtz­claw en­tered into heaven on Septem­ber 28, 2018, af­ter a brief ill­ness. Born on July 27, 1927, to Bedie and Ernest Par­ish. A na­tive Char­lot­tean she at­tended Char­lotte city schools and was ac­tive in the Hard­ing High School Alumni As­so­ci­a­tion. Her em­ploy­ment in­cluded Case Truck­ing Co., Queen City Coach Co., Marsh Realty, La Mar­ick Beauty Sys­tem, Inc. and H&F Uphol­stery work­ing un­til she was 90 years old. Madge at­tended Life Church (for­merly South­side Bap­tist), and was well known for her cake bak­ing skills. Her beau­ti­ful smile and quick wit earned her many friends. Thanks to care­givers: Frances Watkins, Cindy Case; and Karen Yates and Brenda Holmes of Amedisys Hospice of SC. Sur­vivors in­clude daugh­ters, Frances Watkins of Westville, SC, Diane Grif­fin of Plano, Texas, two grand­daugh­ters, two grand­sons, six great­grand­chil­dren and one sis­ter, Gayrie Par­ish Case-Lorick (Mark) and a host of nieces, neph­ews and friends. A Cel­e­bra­tion of Life ser­vice will be held on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 28th, at 11:30 am at Life Church (for­merly South­side Bap­tist), 301 Elmhurst Rd. No flow­ers, please.
