Patriots: Star tight end Rob Gronkowski will be sidelined for the third time in four games when the Patriots take on Tennessee on Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported.
Gronkowski was limited in practice all week while continuing to deal with lingering back and ankle injuries.
He missed last week’s win over Green Bay, but with a bye week coming would have the chance for plenty of rest ahead of a Nov. 25 game against the Jets.
Bills: The Bills ruled out rookie Josh Allen and announced that Matt Barkley is expected to start against the Jets.
Giants: Offensive lineman Patrick Omameh, an offseason acquisition who started the first six games of the season at right guard, was waived.
Jets: The Jets signed quarterback Davis Webb from the practice squad and placed tight end Neal Sterling on season-ending injured reserve.
