E. Carolina Nosworthy Wade “Callie”
CHARLOTTE — E. Carolina “Callie” Norsworthy Wade, 90, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, the 17th of January 2019 at the Laurels at Carolina Place in Pineville. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, the 10th of February 1928 a daughter of the late Selma Thompson Norsworthy and T. W. Norsworthy. “Callie”, as she was affectionately known, was a graduate of Old Central High School and attended Carolina Business School. She retired from Southern Office Supply, after 27 years of service, which her and her husband began and still family owned today. She was a former member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. She is survived by her two sons: Lance A. Wade and wife, Marie and D. Mark Wade and wife, Tammy; two grandchildren: Callie Mae Wade Murray and husband, Corbin and Natalie Elaine Wade and her fiance’, Nicholas Breitenbach and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Donald E. Wade. The Wade family will greet friends from 1: 30 PM until 2: 00 PM, Saturday, the 26th of January 2019 from the graveside at Sharon Memorial Park. A service will follow at 2: 00 PM.
