South­ern Ad­ven­tist event open to the pub­lic

South­ern Ad­ven­tist Univer­sity wel­comes Chris­tian co­me­dian An­thony Grif­fith and singer Beckah Shae to its Col­legedale cam­pus for a free per­for­mance on Satur­day, Sept. 1, at 9 p.m. A com­edy show and con­cert will be pre­sented in Iles P.E. Cen­ter, 4870 Univer­sity Drive, on cam­pus.

Gr iff ith ’s fam i- ly- friendly hu­mor, cou­pled with his abil­ity to bring his ec­cen­tric fam­ily mem­bers to life, have made him an au­di­ence fa­vorite. He has been fea­tured in pro­grams on ABC, Show­time and HBO net­works.

Shae is a soul­ful singer and song­writer who fre­quently rewrites pop­u­lar sec­u­lar songs into Chris­tian cov­ers. She has had mul­ti­ple Top 10 Bill­board Chris­tian chart ra­dio sin­gles, such as “I’ll Be Al­right,” “Here in This Mo­ment” and “Life.”
